looksoftware (September 2014)

On September 16th, 2014, Fresche Legacy announced it’s merger with look software, an Australian-based leader in web, cloud and mobile solutions for IBM i.

The merger creates the first and only one-stop application management and modernization partner for IBM i users.

looksoftware brings to Fresche Legacy extensive knowledge surrounding the IBM i platform, and an extensive suite of tools for GUI modernization, web services, mobile and web access, integration and RPG open access.  Fresche’s services expertise and decades of modernization experience add a valuable services component to look software’s technologies.  Together the two company’s integrated portfolio includes:

  • application support and managed services
  • staff augmentation
  • IT planning
  • platform and application analysis
  • UI enhancements
  • mobile and cloud enablement and,
  • application and database modernization

 

Databorough (September 2013)

On September 5th, 2013, Fresche Legacy announced it had acquired 100% interest in Databorough, a UK-based world-leader in knowledge mining and reuse for the IBM i (iSeries/AS400) platform.

The acquisition, which closed August 7th, 2013, solidifies Fresche Legacy’s brand and leadership position within the IBM marketplace, and broadens the Fresche Legacy product portfolio to include X-Analysis, an industry-leading solution enabling sophisticated code transformation from Synon, RPG and COBOL to Java or C#.

Databorough brings to Fresche Legacy 20+ years of modernization expertise and experience in the iSeries/AS400 marketplace, expanded market presence in the UK and in India, and provides us with the ability to offer our customers multiple approaches to iSeries/AS400 modernization.
